Samsung got a Wifi Certificate from Wi-Fi Alliance for the Samsung NX-R last May
Rumors on the release of the Samsung NX-R compact system camera rangefinder at Photokina are getting stronger. An anonymous source posted at photorumors an image that seems to be the copy of the wifi certification of the Samsung NX-R which makes it more and more credible the release of this rangefinder like camera by Samsung.
If certificate is real this does mean Samsung is really getting serious in the compact system cameras world and will fight to become in future one of the main contenders in camera world.
It seems Samsung is now taking as a standard to have all its NX compact system cameras certified with a wifi module making it easier to transfer photos and videos from camera to a network. Hopefully other camera manufacturers will follow and will give wifi access as a standard connection.
As soon as we have more news on the Samsung NX-R Compact System Camera we will post it up.
