Pocket-lint.com gear tech website has received a sample of the Samsung NX20 compact system camera and published some photo samples. The Samsung NX20 is Samsung’s flagship NX compact system camera featuring a 20.3 mega pixels sensor and improved image quality compared to its predecessor the Samsung NX11.
It is the first camera to feature a wifi module and it is Samsung’s statement of providing the ultimate tech for their compact system cameras.
Some of the photo samples of the Samsung NX20 taken by pocket-lint.com can be found below (original and crops in order to assess the resolving power of both sensor and the kit lens).
From this samples we can assess that the new 20.3 mega pixels sensor is able to deliver good image resolution at least at ISO 3200 with crops featuring lots of detail. At ISO 12800 we are already at unchartered waters where resolution does suffer considerably.
