Cosina Japan under the Voigtlander brand released the Voigtlander Nokton 17mm F0.95 for Micro Four Thirds
Following up the vast success of the Voigtlander Nokton 25mm F0.95 Cosina released another fast prime lens the Voigtlander Nokton 17mm F0.95. It has the same maximum aperture as its 25mm cousin but has a smaller focal length of 17mm (34mm full frame equivalent) providing a wider field of view and specially aimed for the videographers providing a wide field of view with creamy bokeh.
Voigtlander Nokton 17.5mm f 0.95 Lens for Micro Four Thirds Camera
The Voigtlander Nokton 17mm F0.95 comes with a new Selective Aperture Control System allowing to engage/disengage the aperture click stops making it very handy for videographers as it provides a smooth video transition without any bumps or noise coming from the lens operation.
The Voigtlander Nokton 17mm F0.95 is solidly built-in an all metal barrel with a total of 13 elements in 9 groups and with an aperture range of F0.95 at widest till F16. The sweet spot of the Voigtlander Nokton 17mm F0.95 is similar to the one in the Voigtlander Nokton 25mm F0.95 at an aperture of F5.6.
